Compassion is the warm-hearted concern that unfolds when we witness the struggles of others and feel motivated to relieve them. Research suggests that compassion is innate and any of us can strengthen this capacity through deliberate practice, with benefits for self, for others, and for society.
This ground-breaking guide offers a research-based, comprehensive approach to training compassion. Designed to accompany a CBCT course, the guide supports educators as they face unprecedented challenges, from unmanageable workloads to increasing challenges among students. It contains practical tools for educators to strengthen personal resilience, foster meaningful connections with students and colleagues, and increase a sense of efficacy in the classroom and beyond.
All CBCT courses are led by certified CBCT teachers. Learn more at compassionu.app.
