by Greg Oliver (Editor), Brad McFarlin (Author)
Brad McFarlin, a lifetime wrestling fan and resident of the Detroit area, has opened up his photographic archives, giving readers a rare glimpse into the Big Time Wrestling promotion run by The Sheik.
Volume 1 features photos from 1969 to 1974. Besides the blood and fire of The Sheik, there's a look into so much more: competing promotions, wrestlers away from the ring (Sputnik's Monroe's colorful car matches his personality), rookies on the rise (like a very young Randy Savage), women, little people, bears! Oh my! Beginning at a young age, Brad McFarlin had an eye for a camera. As he contributed to countless wrestling magazines, he befriended many wrestlers and morphed into manager "Handsome" Johnny Bradford.
