A jokebook written by children in conjunction with Child of Achievement Awards with celebrity jokes from John Major, Gloria Hunniford, Jonny Searle, Matthew Kelly and others.
A new collection of jokes, all submitted by children who have won Child of Achievement Awards. Awards are given annually to 150 children who are nominated by parents, teachers neighbour, community worker etc. and are deemed worthy of the title. John Major and Bob Holness are patrons of the charity. There is a glittering annual award ceremony which attracts celebrities from various professions. A major sponsor of the Awards is Airtours and they will be featuring the jokebook on their website as well as providing a copy in their goody-bags for young holiday makers next summer.
This will be a jokebook which will be going places!
Cover and illustrations will be by an easily recognisable and well-known illustrator.
Author Biography
Children of Achievement awards are now in their 20th year and are given to 150 children each year who, by their everyday tasks to hep others or who by their ability to overcome personal illness or disability are worthy of the title 'Child of Achievement'. Each year, at a glittering presentation ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane, the lives of these children's are celebrated. The charity fundraises to support the awards and also makes grants and donations to help children achieve more in all walks of life.
