Why should Silicon Valley have all the fun? This question sums up what this book is all about. The Jobs Act (title III) has opened the gates for everyday, unaccredited people to invest in startups. This is fantastic news, however, most of us who like the idea of diversifying a portion of our investing dollars into startups don't know where to begin. Written by an everyday person who literally stumbled into the world of startups almost by accident, Todd McWhirter shares his methodology that helped him create a multi-million-dollar startup portfolio. Learning from both his wild successes and his devastating failures, McWhirter covers the basics; how to analyze an offer, what to look for, what to avoid and where to find them.
