This book is designed to cut through the confusion and uncertainty of obesity and to serve as an instructional guide to anyone who wants to reduce their weight. The process described in this book is rooted in measurement and observation and is effective regardless of eating preferences or activity levels. In other words, it doesn't require exercise or changing the type of foods you eat. The readings are also designed to leave the user with the tools and mindset to maintain their ideal weight permanently once they get there. We spend 62 billion dollars every year in this country for weight loss products and services when the solution is literally in our hands. This book describes the Igen Process, its biological underpinnings, and how to engage in the process. This book also serves as a companion to the online class which walks you week after week, and month after month, to a gradual but permanent reduction in your weight. Understanding our body, our mid-brain, our food environment, and how they interact, gives us the necessary insight to intervene and return to our ideal weight.
