Splendor Solis is a 16th-century alchemical treatise attributed to Salomon Trismosin. The book is a collection of 22 allegorical images, each accompanied by a poem and a commentary. The images depict various alchemical processes and stages of transformation, and are intended to guide the reader on a spiritual and philosophical journey towards the attainment of the philosopher's stone. The text is heavily influenced by Hermetic and Neoplatonic philosophy, and contains references to classical mythology and biblical scripture.
