There is something magnetic about watching a powerful leader in action. They start impressively and their whole performance indicates that they've done this before and they love it. The people listening to them are glued to their every word. They hardly breathe because they don't want to miss anything. They're smitten and they leave feeling alive, inspired and excited by what they've just been part of and want to do it again. It's an intimate experience. The speaker has charisma and it radiates in every direction. Groomed to perfection, they have perfected their body language. They know their topic and they deliver it very well using all of their assets. They are the Complete Package. Complete Packages exude energy and the audience wants to soak it up. Surely as a leader there would be nothing better than delivering a speech, chairing a meeting or holding a discussion and being treated like this because it means you are having an impact. Your message is getting across and people want to hear what you've got to say because what you say makes sense. It is up to you to be willing to review your style often and to change what needs changing. Actors do it all the time - so can you.
