If you want to build applications that fully complement SAP Business Suite software and meet the highest expectations for integration, support, usability, and reliability, then you need the SAP Guidelines for Best-Built Applications That Integrate with SAP Business Suite. The guidelines provide recommendations to developers of complementary solutions, both at SAP partners and in customer organizations, to help ensure that their solutions adhere to architectural approaches, standards, and industry best practices similar to the ones used by SAP. The end result? Reduced customer integration, training, administration, and upgrade costs-leading to an amazing product experience. The guidelines are updated regularly so that customers and partners can make effective choices among technology and integration options, based on the most current innovations available from SAP. The guidelines provide clear statements about which technologies SAP recommends and does not recommend for new development. They provide concrete, actionable guidance for developers interested in aligning with SAP's direction. The guidelines are developed by SAP subject matter experts and carefully reviewed both internally and externally by the SAP Mentors. Through an agile content development process, the guidelines are both long-lived and stable while incrementally incorporating the newest SAP products.
