He believed he was developing a revolutionary drug. Now he's accused of murder.
Narin Roy is a brilliant, obsessed neuropharmacologist who has spent his career studying Red Sky, a street drug that can make you euphoric and unstoppable, but without warning, triggers violent psychosis and death. When he discovers a formula that could neutralize Red Sky's deadliest effects and turn ordinary people into DaVinci-level geniuses, Harvester Pharmaceuticals comes calling.
But Harvester isn't interested in saving lives. Behind its gleaming façade lies a secret military project built on Narin's research, one with consequences far beyond what he imagined. When Narin discovers the truth, he realizes his formula was never meant to change the world as he intended.
Caught in a corporate power struggle between a charismatic lawyer with a ruthless hidden agenda and an embittered scientist who built the company and may be destroying it, Narin can no longer tell where his obsession ends, and his unraveling begins. Now he sits in a police interrogation room, accused of murder, writing down everything that happened, even as the drug that started it all still lingers in his system.
The question is how much of his account you can believe.
Red Sky is a darkly compelling medical technothriller for fans of Michael Crichton and Blake Crouch who like their science frightening, their narrators unreliable, and their conspiracies disturbingly plausible.
