She was born in 1932 in Central Queensland's Dawson Valley, where she has lived her entire life. Though not out of necessity, or even tradition. Auda lives on her family's 8,000-acre cattle property near her hometown of Baralaba because this is where she loves to live. She has travelled widely - especially across the outback (and also to the other side of the world).
Auda Maclean has won numerous awards for her ability to capture on canvas the beauty of the bush she so loves.
