This book is the education portion of Preventive Cardiology for people with risk factors for heart disease such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, metabolic syndrome and people who want to learn the novel way to take good care of their heart. It is often said that approximately 50 percent of heart attacks happen in people without any early warning signs and symptoms of the risk factors for heart disease. Hence, the main objective of preventive cardiology is to be able to successfully measure and monitor people's health to stop or decrease the chance of suffering from a heart attack, and also to identify the people for aggressive primary prevention, using the traditional risk factor screening and other newer non-invasive imaging of heart disease at the advanced level.
