Lipedema is not just cellulite, but a real inflammatory disease, still little known, progressive and chronic, in which subcutaneous fat invades mainly the legs until it becomes disabling. Although there are currently no definitive treatments to heal lipedema, there are many natural and unconventional therapies that can make the body less inflamed and much more pleasant to look at and touch, also acting on the well-being of the mind and spirit. We should know these holistic treatments to get more and more in tune with an organism that cries out its discomfort, thus helping it to find its incredible beauty again. As a dentist and expert in holistic therapies, but above all as a person affected by lipedema, I felt the need to write a book that would shed some light on a disease that is still little known and too often undiagnosed, placing particular attention on natural and unconventional treatments.
