Life Is Like That is a memoir, a collection of over 60 short stories rich with reflections, insights, lessons learned, observations, and commentaries. Some are rooted in serious life issues, others are anchored in nonsense. The stories reflect experiences of the lifespan, from being born, growing up, and into the adult years. The experiences will lure the readers to recall their own life, remembering incidents from serious to humorous; and herein lies the purpose of book, to trigger the reader into sharing life with family and friends through the medium of story-telling.
Stories become the threads of communication between individuals and peoples--in our daily lives, through the decades, and through the generations among family and friends. They capture our history; but more importantly, they reflect who we are. Stories can be remembered but they are meaningless unless they are shared. Life Is Like That will become the portal through which readers will recall, reflect, share, and savor the life they have lived.
