For the last three decades, Lauren Kazee has spent countless hours speaking with educators about the importance of self-care and stress management. Her first-hand experience both personally and professionally makes her a staunch advocate for the wellness and mental health of those suffering from the burn out often associated with selfless dedication.
The need for educator self-care has always been present, but it became even more apparent with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. As requests for workshops and support to help school staff improve their own self-care strategies surged, educators needed a dedicated resource to enhance their commitment and skills around their own well-being.
Life in the S.L.O.W. Lane stands in the gap and offers an array of self-guided lessons and reflections on stress management and wellness routines. Through them, educators learn to consistently integrate self-care activities into their daily lives, whether at work, at home, or on the go!
