ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Ed Gillentine is the founder and principal of Gillentine Group and the author of Journey to Impact: A Practical Guide to Purpose-Driven Investing.
Since 2003, Ed has specialized in helping individuals and families integrate investment research, financial planning, and wealth management with their life's purpose. Ed and his colleagues at the Gillentine Group are passionate about engaging the hearts of people who want to use their wealth to create meaningful, purpose-driven impact. As a part of his personal journey to impact, Ed is actively involved in strategic impact initiatives in Africa, Europe, and the United States. Many of the principles in Journey to Impact grew out of his personal experiences and those of his friends, colleagues, and clients.
Ed received his undergraduate degree in business from Crichton College and his MBA from Union University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, a Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy(R), and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Ed and his wife, Liz, have been blessed with three wonderful children. Ed loves spending time with his family, working out, playing golf, and traveling. He also enjoys studying the Bible and reading World War II-era history.
