More often than not, they juggle a full-time job that provides compensation and an additional full-time job in the home that does not provide additional compensation or adequate recognition. It seems that much of the accolades that do go to women go only to those of great influence and power within the public eye. This book is a collection of stories of women who have made an everlasting impact on my life. These women have had a paramount influence in the lives of women all around them. They are makers and artists, doctors and chefs, financial officers and volunteers, peacekeepers and changemakers. The impact we leave on one another is the greatest gift of all. Who you are is defined by those you surround yourself with.
