Author Biography
MELISSA MWAI i is an Afro-Latinx author/illustrator. She is the author of the leveled reader Stacey Abrams (National Geographic Kids, '22). She studied English at Colby College, Library Science at Long Island University, and worked in elementary education for many years before beginning her writing career.
