Sure, everyone has a story to tell so let me share my truth. A TRUTH that has opened me up and allowed me to begin to heal. A truth that has made me face my demons, yet a truth that God is allowing me to share so that you too can allow your truth to set you free as mine have. Just what is it about the truth many do not like facing? I've learned that ONLY the truth will set you free no matter how ugly it is. It then not only becomes the truth but the UGLY truth which brings about the freedom we all so rightfully deserve and a conscience-free life. One should never be ashamed about what they've been through. Life has not always dealt us a fair hand. We take what we have been through to help others to get through in life. BE FREE! Emily, a 47-year-old North Carolina native, a survivor, an overcomer, wife, mother, now grandmother of five adorable grandchildren brings to you a very powerful memoir of her own TRUTH. Emily enjoys traveling, writing, singing, dancing, bowling, hiking mountains, and spending time with family. Emily has been inspired to write her second book by seeing and realizing how many people go around on a day-to-day basis hiding behind scars that eventually destroy them if not healed from them. Emily was once that person so writing this book not only has helped her to heal, but her prayer is that it will help others to no longer hide behind their scars, heal, and live within their truth as well.
