Dr. Coakley has dedicated nearly two decades to the field of medicine, serving as a beacon of hope and resilience in the community of Belton, Texas. A proud mother of 14-year-old twins, she balances her demanding career with the joys and challenges of motherhood. Graduating with a BS in Biology from Duke University, Dr. Coakley further honed her expertise by earning an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Her medical journey continued at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she graduated with AOA distinction, and at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident. For over 13 years, Dr. Coakley has been a cornerstone at a community hospital in Texas, holding pivotal roles such as Director of Medicine and Chair of Medicine. Her commitment to education is evident from her decade-long tenure as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M.
