Stepping onto an HBCU campus is like stepping into a world of culture, pride, tradition-and unspoken rules no one tells you at orientation. That's where HBCU Survival Guide: What They Don't Teach You in Orientation comes in.
From dorm life and roommate drama to Greek life, caf etiquette, mental health, and The Yard, this book keeps it real. Whether you're a first-year student or just need a refresher, this guide breaks it all down with humor, heart, and the kind of truth only someone who's lived it would give you.
Written by Lashonna Odom, a proud HBCU alum, this guide is your honest blueprint to surviving (and thriving) on campus. No sugar-coating. No clichés. Just the real deal-because success at an HBCU means navigating both the culture and the classroom.
