This book examines the erosion of American democracy, through the converging forces of religion, wealth, and political power. It urges a return to conscience, courage, and collective awakening, and a collective moral clarity, which may involve for some a recognition and acceptance of a previously unknown or unacknowledged, uncomfortable truth. It is an investigation into the architects of that erosion of democracy, tracing the ideological, financial, and cultural currents, that converged into a tidal wave, one powerful enough to overturn the foundational principles of governance, truth, and justice, fusing together in a perfect storm that flipped the moral compass of a nation, and with that the democratic principles that underpin that nation.
