Using detailed and comprehensive analysis, Generations of Giving: Leadership and Continuity in Family Foundations examines continuity and leadership over time within family foundations. Although the foundations in the study are quite diverse in their goals and management, they have all had to confront and survive a common set of challenges. Author Biography
Kelin E. Gersick is a leading consultant in the field of family-owned businesses and foundations. He is the author of Generation to Generation: Life Cycles of the Family Business, and from 1989 to 1993 he served as co-editor-in-chief of the Family Business Review.
