For God So Loved the Dinosaurs is a richly illustrated picture book that brings faith, wonder, and discovery together in a story children can see, hear, and feel.
Written in lyrical verse meant to be read aloud, this picture book invites children to listen, to wonder, and to discover how dinosaurs still echo in the birds around us today- to be shared and read aloud together.
Blending poetic language with awe for the natural world, For God So Loved the Dinosaurs introduces young readers to the idea that dinosaurs were not lost to time, but transformed through evolution-leaving living traces in the birds that fill our skies. The book creates space for curiosity, imagination, and meaningful conversation.
To support families, educators, and homeschool settings, the book includes a page guide to encourage discussion, a reference list for further exploration, and two illustrated pages for children to color. The book concludes with a creative invitation for children to draw their own Dinobird, extending learning through imagination and play.
Designed for preschool and early elementary readers, this book is well-suited for bedtime reading, classrooms, churches, and shared family reading. Parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers will appreciate its thoughtful integration of faith and science, while children will be drawn to its rhythm, imagery, and sense of wonder.
For God So Loved the Dinosaurs is a celebration of listening closely-to words, to music, to birds, and to the enduring beauty of creation-offering a shared reading experience that continues beyond the final page.
