Fitness by Verse is a workout that combines scripture and your daily workout. The exercises emphasize and remind you to think of the scripture, making it easier to learn and to spend time with the Lord. It is important to make and keep our temple strong, and what better way than to workout with scripture? Fitness by Verse includes easy days and hard days in the program, but they make us stronger physically and mentally as well helping us to understand the pain Jesus endured for our sins. It is important to remember that these exercises are not found in the Bible; rather, these exercises come from my interpretation of what the verse says and what exercises make me think of that specific verse. For example, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus climbs up the mountain and that is why I put Mountain Climbers together with that verse. I have also included modifications for the exercises.
