Sylvia and Danielle worry a lot. They worry about Danielle's hard-won career in the fickle world of interior design. They worry about harsh judgment toward Sylvia, a transgender woman who longs to be unremarkable. When Danielle's old friend, Preston Elridge IV, moves to town and asks Danielle to design his trendy new restaurant, it seems like much-needed good news: a financial windfall, flexible hours, and a crowning achievement for her portfolio.
