Want to avoid the Department of War (DoW) acquisition bureaucratic quicksand and actually deliver for the warfighter? Here's how: put product ahead of process, keep immature technology out until it's ready, and replace apathy with accountability!
The organizations that consistently deliver-Big Safari, Rapid Capabilities Office, Special Operations Command-don't succeed by ignoring the system. They succeed by executing differently within it. Deliver! captures those patterns and translates them into practical principles you can apply in your own programs-without special authorities, shortcuts, or exceptions.
Written by a retired Brigadier General who led major Department of the Air Force acquisition programs including the F-22 and International Sales, this is not a book about theory or compliance. It is a field guide for professionals who are done watching programs slip-and are ready to deliver results.
