COUNSEL WITH THE MIND OF CHRIST: Biblical Psychology Applied to Everyday Human Life is the sequel to BIBLICAL PSYCHOLOGY FOR END-TIME BELIEVERS: Human Nature Revealed by God in Scripture published in 2023. The two volumes synthesize insights from 40 years of teaching and clinical practice as a Christian counselor. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ are revealed in Scripture! Youth, couples, parents, old folks, the anxious, the despairing, and the grieving are counseled with the mind of Christ when the counselor's own mind is saturated with the Word of Christ. When secular and Biblical psychology are properly distinguished, generic and Christian counseling are distinctly different. Preachers, teachers, parents, chaplains, youth workers, and all who counsel informally will find this book especially helpful. Professional counselors whose preparation was exclusively secular will discover a unique and refreshing approach based on Christ and Scripture.
