WILLIAM D. FALLOON is an editor at Risk magazine, the world's leading derivatives news publication. He has covered the futures and options markets from Chicago for fourteen years, and recently completed a sesquicentennial history of the Chicago Board of Trade. "Charlie D helped me see futures markets in a different light," he says. "Traders are often portrayed as greedy, unethical, or worse, but Charlie D is the George Bailey and Brian Piccolo of the futures markets all wrapped into one."
