The Western world is in a downward spiral. Symptoms include worsening economies, increasing crime, and general crumbling of society's moral and civil framework. This book, after establishing some distinguishing characteristics of Calvinism, traces its advance throughout Europe and subsequently to America through personalities and events giving rise to our modern world and all its prosperity. By doing so it provides an encouraging reminder of how God turns the fortunes of faithful men and nations for the better--even ours, even today.
Author Biography
M. Brett Callaway retired as head of North America operations for a global agricultural company. He remains active in his church, politics, and writing, including the book Crossroads of the Eternal (2018). He resides with his wife of thirty-five years in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
