Richard M. Bergenstal, MD, is Executive Director of the International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He is Past President, Medicine & Science, of the American Diabetes Association.
Diane Reader, RD, CDE, is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator; she is manager of professional education at the International Diabetes Center.
