Anger is the root of much hate and chaos in our society. Often, we can tie all negative societal experiences back to anger, ranging from wars to hate crimes and even day to day acts of unkindness toward each other on a personal level. With how much destruction anger has caused, it is easy to think that anger is a "bad" thing and to believe that we need to eradicate it entirely in order to experience happy, peaceful lives.

Anger is a natural emotion, though how we express it is not always natural. Often, as children we are taught that anger is bad and so we are forced to try to suppress it, hide it, or otherwise prevent it from surfacing. As we try to hide our own, we are also exposed to the toxic anger of adults who's own attempts at suppressing their anger are starting to fail. As a result, we experience massive imbalances in our ability to experience and express anger.
The truth is, it doesn't have to be this way.
