There are no shortcuts to advertising wisdom, but there is a fast lane.
Ron Huey spent 30+ years in the creative trenches at some of the nation's top creative shops before launching his own award-winning agency. These 12 steps are more than theory; they're lived experience from someone who's been in the room, on the hook, and shows up believing great creative ideas matter.
Advertisers Anonymous explores twelve character traits that separate creatives who thrive from those who flame out: Perseverance. Diligence. Ambition. Trust. Humility. Perspective. Honesty. Initiative. Discipline. Ingenuity. Gratitude. Acceptance.
Ron delivers over 100 bite-sized insights into creating work that stands out, wrangling clients, charting your career path and knowing when and how to fight for an idea. What worked, what didn't and why - short lessons for thick skin and long careers.
"Advertising has a way of testing your faith. Ron Huey's Advertisers Anonymous reminds us why we fell in love with the work in the first place and how to survive it with our integrity, humor, and curiosity intact." -Diane Cook-Tench, Founder, VCU Brandcenter, Hall of Fame Educator.
Whether you've been in the business for 10 days or 10 years, this is a career accelerator if there ever was one.
