Author Biography
Sarah L. Castillo, a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) on the Registry of Approved Mentors, has focused her career in both academic and applied practice settings. She earned her PhD from the University of Idaho in 2000 and has served on the executive board for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). She currently serves as the director of Sport and Performance Psychology programs at University of Western States, USA.
Chelsea Butters Wooding is an Assistant Professor in the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology Program at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, USA. She is a CMPC through AASP and holds a PhD in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University, along with an MA in Counseling from WVU, an MS in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, and a BA in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
Douglas A. Barba is a Professor in the Psychology Department at National University, USA, where he serves as the Program Director for the BA in Sport Psychology and MA in Performance Psychology programs. Doug earned his PhD at the University of Florida and an MA in Psychology from the School of Human Behavior at United States International University in San Diego.
Stiliani "Ani" Chroni earned her MS from Springfield College, MA in 1994 and PhD from the University of Virginia in 1997 both focusing on sport psychology. She pursued a transnational dual career as an Academic and Applied Sport Psychology Practitioner. Currently, she lives and works in Norway as a Professor in Sport Psychology and Sports Coaching. In 2020 she established the Sport Coaching Research Group at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway and served as its first director until 2022.
