Along disturbing narrative spiral, these eleven stories address exile, migration, and the search for an alternative future.\u003ch3\u003eAuthor Biography\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eClara Obligado was born in Buenos Aires. A political exile, she has lived in Spain since 1976. She has been awarded the Femenino Lumen prize and the Juan March Cencillo short novel prize. Some of her short story collections are \u003ci\u003eLas otras vidas, El libro de los viajes equivocados, La muerte juega a los dados, and La biblioteca de agua\u003c\/i\u003e and among her essay collections are \u003ci\u003eUna casa lejos de casa. She earned a BA in Comparative Literature \u0026amp; Society at Columbia University in 2022, and has since worked as an in-house translator and copywriter in Barcelona.
