He discusses YouTubers Chumel Torres, \u003cbr\u003eMalena Pichot, Guille Aquino, Joanna Hausmann, and El Cacash; the \u003cbr\u003e\u003ci\u003eEnchufe.tv\u003c\/i\u003e collective; and the video columnists Maria Paulina Baena from\u003cbr\u003e \u003ci\u003eLa Pulla\u003c\/i\u003e and Mari?ngela Urbina from \u003ci\u003eLas Igualadas\u003c\/i\u003e. These creators use \u003cbr\u003eprofessional and non-mainstream practices and resources to dismantle \u003cbr\u003efake news, highlight social tensions, and offer in-depth content that \u003cbr\u003egoes beyond confrontational attacks. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn contexts of \u003cbr\u003ehighly ideological polarization, Alonso argues, digital satire is a \u003cbr\u003eunique type of hybrid alternative media that can articulate nonpartisan \u003cbr\u003einterpretations of reality while also questioning, deconstructing, and \u003cbr\u003esubverting the authoritative role of media.
