Dr. A. W. Mangum about his time spent at the Salisbury Confederate Prison. The article carried so much information, it was surprising it had never been reprinted.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThese articles led me to search in the \u003cem\u003eOfficial Records\u003c\/em\u003e for more information about the Salisbury Prison. There I found an extensive letter on the horrific conditions of the Salisbury Prison written February 17, 1865, by T. W. Hall, Assistant Adjutant and Inspector General.
